My Morning Skincare Routine

So my morning skincare routine is a lot quicker than my evening skincare, mainly because I don’t always have time when I’m rushing round in the morning to be in work for 7am.

The first step is using the Yes To Tomatoes Acne Fighting Micellar Water. I use this to make sure any dirt thats has built up over night have been removed. This is a recent discovery as I picked it up in TKMax. It has salicylic acid in to help fight acne. I’m am really liking this at the moment as it doesn’t dry out my skin or make it really oily and I definitely want to try out more from this range.

The next step is also quite new to my routine and it is the Nip and Fab Glycol Fix Daily Cleansing Pads. I have wanted to try theses for ages but always thought they were quite pricey for what they are, but I found then in TKMax the other week. They help to gently exfoliate, moisturise and calm your skin. I have only recently started to use these so I can’t say if they helping to improve my skin or not yet, but I really like them so far. Sometime if I am taking a bit more time with my routine then I  will us the Revolution Blemish and Pore Refining serum which I use every evening to help with the marks that are left behind from spots.

The last step is to moisturise. In the morning I like a moisturiser that will help control my oily skin a bit and also has SPF which is really important in the summer months. I have been using the LA Roche-Posay Effacar Duo. This has SPF 30 in and is a acne treatment that corrects and moisturises oily, acne prone skin. I had read a lot of reviews saying that this isn’t as good as the one without SPF as it made their skin more oily, but so far  I am really liking this. I don’t know if it has improved my oiliness but it hasn’t make it any worse and it leaves my skin feeling really soft.

Really hope you enjoyed reading and let me know what you use in your morning skincare routine!!
